It was an absolutely wonderful trip. I didn’t think that I liked guided tours until I did this trip. The tour was tailored really well, and our guide did an amazing job of curating the experience for us. My wife and I had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend Mountain Lodges of Peru to any of our friends. – Ben S.

My husband and I journeyed to Peru for 11 days, 7 of the days on The Salkantay Trail to hike to Machu Picchu. During the hike, we stayed at four Mountain Lodges: Salkantay Lodge, Wayra Lodge, Colpa Lodge and Lucma Lodge. From the guides, to porters, lodges and food, everything was amazing! I highly recommend it!

My friend and I did the six night/seven day Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu and it was excellent…The sights and trekking experience were 100% first rate! I learned some history, some nature, and had a great physical experience with all the walking. For the record, I am a 49 year old woman in good shape – active but not an athlete. It was challenging but totally doable. I’m very glad I did this trek. It was a life experience.
